Our Mission

Adopt a Stormdrain Foundation works to conserve our waters and ensure sustainable watersheds through education, technology, and consumer behavior. The foundation's goals are as follows:

• Reduce impacts 6f storm water runoff for a sub-watershed of your local stream;
• Enhance community awareness of storm water runoff and non-point source pollution;
• Foster environmental stewardship by businesses and members of the community;
• Make your community litter-free

The foundation works toward educating our future generations in the importance of keeping our storm drains fee of debris. From large multinational corporations to small, community-based cooperatives, we involve businesses, government organizations, schools and consumers in our efforts to bring about the changes necessary to save our waters from pollution.

Current Activities

Adopt a Stormdrain Foundation works thought out the Southbay performing the following activities:

• Organize community cleanups in the Dominguez Watershed;
• Conduct school assemblies and class room presentations on watershed education and stormwater pollution;
• Assist local school teachers and students with classroom water quality testing and/or sampling
